Linear sync
Connect Linear with a personal API key so Clarion can sync issues for your team.
Overview
Linear is configured on the Clarion backend today (not yet in Settings → Integrations). Your Clarion operator sets LINEAR_API_KEY on the shared product API. Once configured, Clarion can sync tickets the same way it does with Jira.
Note. If your org already uses Jira in Settings, ask Clarion which tracker is active for new work — only one tickets provider is primary for new issues.
1. Create a Linear API key
- In Linear, open Settings → API (https://linear.app/settings/api).
- Create a Personal API key with access to the team Clarion should sync.
- Copy the key and send it securely to your Clarion operator (or paste it into the env slot they provide).
2. Optional team scope
- LINEAR_TEAM_KEY — restrict sync to one team (team key such as ENG). Blank uses the only/first team.
- LINEAR_AUTO_CREATE — when true, new Clarion tasks can create Linear issues automatically.
3. Verify
- After the key is set and the API restarts, open Settings → Integrations and confirm Linear shows as connected.
- Click Test on the Linear row.
