Quickstart
Get your Clarion org live: sign in, invite your team, and connect Slack, Jira, and GitHub from Settings.
What you need
- An active Clarion organization (your Clarion contact creates this in the ops console).
- A dashboard login for that org — at least one user should be an admin.
- Access to your Slack workspace, Jira site, and/or GitHub org if you want those connected.
- Open https://dashboard.tryclarion.ai and sign in with the email and password created for you.
- Confirm you land on the Clarion board for your organization.
- Open Settings → Integrations. Only org admins can save Slack, Jira, and GitHub credentials.
Connect integrations
Slack, Jira, and GitHub are configured per organization in the product UI. Paste credentials in Settings — Clarion stores them encrypted for your org. No server restart is required.
Other providers (Linear, Fireflies, Zoom, Notion, Confluence, Google Workspace) are still configured on the Clarion backend environment by your Clarion operator. Ask us if you need those turned on.
- Slack — create a Slack app, then paste the bot token (and optional app token) in Settings. See Slack setup.
- Jira — create an Atlassian API token, then paste site URL, email, token, and project key. See Jira sync.
- GitHub — create a read-only personal access token. See GitHub.
Verify the connection
- On each connected provider row, click Test. Clarion calls the provider with your saved credentials and shows a live result.
- For Slack with Socket Mode (app token), DM the bot or @mention it in an allowed channel.
- Create or update a task on the board and confirm ticket sync behavior if Jira auto-create is enabled.
Where credentials go
Dashboard → Settings → Integrations → Slack / Jira / GitHub → Save
Note. Org admins paste secrets in Settings → Integrations. Never commit tokens to git or share them in Slack channels.
Daily triage (automatic)
Twice a day (10:00 and 15:00 IST), Clarion reads Slack channels the bot is in, GitHub repos your token can access (after main-branch search), and your board. It DMs the Slack admin with proposed tasks and updates — nothing is written until you reply approve, approve A1 A2, or reject.
Note. List at least one Slack admin user in Settings → Integrations so triage knows who to DM.
